Golden Valley Electric Association Selects DataCore Technology to Implement Cyco Software's Engineering Data Management Solutions

Golden Valley Electric Association (GVEA), a rural electric cooperative in Alaska, has selected DataCore to implement Cyco's AutoManager Meridian with the Cyco Asset Management Module to manage their engineering data and design documentation.  GVEA adds to DataCore Technology’s extensive list of customers in the electric utilities industry, including Chugach Electric Association and Homer Electric Association, also located in Alaska. Cyco Software International User Conference 2006 Big Success

With almost 100 customers in attendance from all over the world, Cyco's 2006 International User Conference was a big success. Experts demonstrated in practical, hands-on sessions how customers could customize and make the most of their Cyco AutoManager solutions.  Multiple workshops provided customers with ideas, tips, and recommendations to take EDM to the Enterprise. CyConnect International, the Cyco Software independent user group, also formally debuted and unfolded its exciting plans for the growing worldwide Cyco user community.

This new Cyco AutoManager Meridian release boasts full-text search, advanced enterprise application and data integration, multiple productivity enhancements, multi-CAD support including AutoCAD 2007, and a brand-new user interface design for the Cyco AutoManager Office Client.  This EDM solution also helps organizations to share their technical information across the enterprise that will help to streamline engineering-related business processes. Weyerhaeuser started working with the McLaren Software team 18 months ago as part of McLaren's early adopter program for the third generation Enterprise Engineer application suite. Since that time, Weyerhaeuser has moved from Enterprise Engineer 3.0 to 3.1, and now to the latest version: Enterprise Engineer 3.5.
