York International Selects DataCore Technology to Aid New
Product Development

heating, air conditioning and refrigerator units in the world.

Sallade, president of DataCore, discussed how the integration of
Cyco AutoManager Meridian, the DataCore FDA Module, and MRO
MAXIMO solutions together facilitate compliance with FDA 21 CFR
Part 11 through enhanced security of documentation, providing a
compliant audit trail, controlled print stamping, and electronic
signatures. This helps engineering and maintenance groups in
pharmaceutical companies to improve compliance effectiveness,
reduce residual compliance risk and lower the total cost of

Cyco AutoManager
2005a Announced
The latest
generation of AutoManager software features support for Autodesk
AutoCAD 2006, Inventor 10, SolidWorks 2006, global search across
multiple vaults, and the return of the BriefCase.
The Cyco
AutoManager BriefCase allows exchange of document sets between
Cyco AutoManager installations or from one Cyco AutoManager
installation to an environment without Cyco AutoManager
available (for example Cyco AutoManager customers and their
engineering contractors). Cyco AutoManager View can be used to
"unpack" the BriefCase and to view the documents. The Cyco
AutoManager Briefcase is available for both Cyco AutoManager
Meridian and Cyco AutoManager TeamWork.
Cyco Software International User Conference and MRO
World big success!
With over
100 customers in attendance from various countries, Cyco's first
International User Conference was a big success. There were many
training sessions where customers could learn how to improve on
their existing investment in Cyco AutoManager Meridian. This
event marked the kick-off for a new Cyco User Group with six
end-users volunteering to establish the Board of Directors.
As with
previous years and with over 150 MRO customers interested in
learning more about the Cyco AutoManager Meridian integration
with MAXIMO, MRO World 2005 in Dallas, TX was also a big
success.
CADLink to Drawing Manager:
Time is running out!
Keeping
your engineer’s output managed is as challenging today as it has
ever been. With new regulatory and compliance concerns it is
time to upgrade your CADLink environment to Enterprise
Engineer’s Drawing Manager.
Drawing
Manager is a pre-configured enterprise drawing management
application that manages drawings and all other types of
engineering content and their lifecycles in line with industry
best practice. It allows the design team to manage the entire
engineering lifecycle and store and access drawings and their
associated content securely in a Documentum repository.
Drawing
Manager provides CAD integration functionality for AutoCAD and
MicroStation – such as title block synchronization, CAD
reference file handling, associated and hybrid raster-vector
handling – and extends this to provide configurable searching,
drawing lifecycles, drawing templates, and pre-configured
metadata mapping to title blocks.
Support for
CADLink ends on January 31st 2006.
